Usage of Silicon barium alloyIn steelmaking, silicon barium has strong deoxidation and desulfurization function. The experiments prove that a ton of silicon barium alloy can replace 1.5 tons of ferrosilicon on the deoxidation effect (comparing with Ba = 15~20 ); in the casting, the silicon barium is an excellent and efficient inoculant. Ba atomic weight is larger than the other deoxy elements like Si, Al, Ca, and with high density, it's suitable to deoxidate by precipitating method and improve recovery rate of other elements. Silicon barium alloy is mainly used to produce excellent steel, it is an indispensable deoxidizer for pure steel metallurgy. According to some analysis, 60% of China's annual output of 80,000 tons of pure barium alloy (to be verified)  are used in multi-alloy as additives, 10% for the simple deoxidizer, 30% used as inoculant and efficient nodulizer,
